• Account information, including your email address and login credentials.
• Profile information you provide, such as name, age, gender, location text, selected vibes, photos, and optional voice intro.
• Approximate or precise location (when you grant permission) to support nearby discovery features.
• In-app activity data such as likes, passes, matches, chat messages, and inbox/read status.
• Device/app data stored locally on your device (for example, cached preferences and session data).

2. How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide matching, messaging, and discovery features.
• To show your profile content to other users according to app behavior and settings.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app.
• To process account support actions, including password reset and account deletion.

3. Permissions

• Microphone: used when you choose to record a voice intro.
• Photos/Media Library: used when you choose profile photos.
• Location: used to power nearby and location-based matching features.

You can manage permissions in your device settings at any time.

4. Service Providers

We use Supabase to provide backend services including authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure. Your data may be processed and stored through these services to operate the app.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the app, including with service providers, or when required by law.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account from within the app. Account deletion removes your profile data and associated content from our systems, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Lowkey is intended for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
